Though all the answers are either marked in the textbook or done on the blackboard, Students are encouraged to write answers on their own. However, there are certain things one should keep in mind while answering questions:-
1. The paper will be divided into three sections: 1mark questions, 3 marks, and 5 marks. Write One point or word for 1 mark, 3 points for 3 marks and 5 points for 5 marks.
2. While answering 3 and 5 marks: Write in Points. This makes memorizing easy.
3. Also, write the headings or keywords of the points. Underline these keywords/headings.
4. More than writing long answers, emphasize more on writing a well-structured answer which includes all the keywords in points and explain these heading in one or two lines.
5. Even if the diagram is not asked, you can draw a diagram along with the written part, to explain the concept more lucidly. E.g in the levels of Panchayati Raj, a pyramid can be drawn.
6. Some long-answer questions may be divided into sub-questions. In that case, answer each part accordingly.
7. If a diagram is asked to be drawn, label it properly.
8. For Map work: Practice on Physical Map of India at least 4-5 times at home. Use the tricks (Like Tropic of Cancer) which have been discussed in the class. Label properly,
9. Pay attention to spellings and punctuation. For example, use capital letters to start a new sentence, use a comma where needed.
10. Write neatly, leave enough space between the words and leave a margin on both sides.
12. Finally, before submitting the sheet, read the answers again and do the corrections.
