Map 1: Use physical map of India
On the map, label the following Rivers:

5 rivers of Punjab, i.e., Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi,
Beas, Satluj
·
Rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Narmada,
Godavari, Krishna, Kaveri
·
The title of the map will be: ‘Major Rivers of
India’
2.
Map 2: Use Physical Map of India
On the map label the following mountain
chains
·
Himalayas, Eastern Ghats, Western Ghats,
Aravallis
·
The title of the map will be: ‘Mountain system
of India’
3.
Map 3: Use Physical or Political map of the
World
On the map label the following
regions:
·
All continents, All oceans
·
Also write down the name of the countries
through which Equator passes
·
The title of the map will be: ‘The Physical map
of the World’
4.
Map 4: Use Physical map of the world
In EACH CONTINENT label the following things:
·
The highest mountain peak of that continent (e.g.
Mt Everest in Asia).
·
Longest mountain chain
·
Longest River and Largest River
·
Largest Desert
·
The title of the map will be: ‘Miscellaneous
facts about the continents’
Note:
·
You can use google or your geography text book
and Atlas for reference
·
Paste the maps on pin-up papers, or in a copy or
in a file.
·
Use pencil and color pencils to label or mark
the sites. You can use pen to write the title
·
Use the space on the right hand side to write
down extra information
